RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The San Francisco State women's cross country team traveled to UC Riverside to race in UC Riverside Invitational. The Gators raced in the 5K open and finished seventh out of 26 teams.

All of the scorers for the Gators finished in the top 100 in a race that featured 251 participants. For a second straight race, Julia Pioroda was the top finisher for the Gators and placed 41st with a time of 18:42.8. Yolo Javier crossed the finish line with a time of 18:56.4. Yuridia Corona and Priscilla Navarro crossed the line with nearly identical times to place 72nd and 73rd respectively. Raven Nieto rounded out the top five with a time of 19:10.0. The Gators had a spread of 28 seconds between their top five finishers.
