SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco State's wrestling's Andre Dargani and Hayden Ancheta each took home gold in their respective weight classes at the Senior Philippine National Championships. Dargani was the 74kg champion and posted a tournament record of 4-0. Ancheta was the 57kg champion and finished with a tournament record of 6-0.

Dargani teched all four of his opponents in the first period, including a stunning win over Grappling World Champion and Philippines Senior World Team member, Fierre Proudhon Afan.

Ancheta picked up two pins, two techs and one decision, besting two returning South East Asia (SEA) Medalists & three Senior National Team Members.

Ancheta and Dargani earned their Senior World Team Spots and will represent the Philippines at the SEA Games taking place from December 16-19 in Thailand.
