SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco State's Kyle Botelho was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Wrestler of the Week on January 20, marking the second time Botelho has earned the award this season.

Botelho pick up a pair of wins at 165lbs against his opponents from Westcliff and Vanguard, both by fall. He pinned his first opponent from Westcliff in 2:39 and took down his second opponent, Cole Shafer from Vanguard, in 3:45. The Gators beat Westcliff 40-7 and Vanguard 25-14. Botelho is 12-3 on the season with six pins.

The Gators have the week off and will compete at the MPSF Championships, hosted by Vanguard, on Feb 1. A season ago the Gators placed second in the inaugural championship.
