SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State Softball team was selected fourth in the CCAA Preseason poll. The Gators received 52 points, just three behind third-place Cal State San Bernardino.

The Gators were 39-20 overall and 21-15 in conference play in 2025. The team won its first CCAA Tournament title and host NCAA Regionals for the first time in program history. Senior Marissa Jordan was named to the preseason watch list.  Last year, she earned All-CCAA second team honors after hitting .299 with 40 hits, eight extra-base knocks, and 24 RBI. 

San Francisco State softball's 50th season starts on January 30 when they compete at the Concordia Kickoff Classic.
