LOS ANGELES - The San Francisco State men's track & field team travel south the Oxy Distance Carnival-Spring Break Classic. The Gators raced several of their races under the lights for a little cooler racing weather.

Benjamin Elfenbaum ran a personal best time of 1:59.04 in the 800m, shaving off .8 seconds from his previous best time. He had a fast start and ran the first lap in 57.22. Francisco Hernandez ran a CCAA qualifying time of 4:09.47 in his first 1500m race as a Gator.

Caleb Bouwens also ran a CCAA qualifying time, crossing the finish line in 15:26.72 in the 5000m.
