SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State men's track & field team opened the 2026 campaign at the Golden Gate Track Fest at Cox Stadium.

Benjamin Elfenbaum led the Gators in the 1500m. He was just shy of running a CCAA qualifying time and finished 4:10.35. Jesus Aguilar had a strong performance in the 3000m and won his section with a time of 8:52.22.
