SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State women's track & field team ran in the annual Mike Fanelli Track Classic. The event featured athletes from around the country.
Raven Nieto ran a big PR in the 10000 meter. She shaved off a minute from her previous best time to finish the 10000m with a time of 37:51.54, fourth best in program history and seventh best in the CCAA this season so far.
Anika Pettinger had a big PR in 1500m and ran it in 4:46.10. Yuridia Corona-Duran ran under 2:20 in the 800m for the first time in her career and finished with a time of 2:19.50.
On day two of the competition, the Gators honored Anika Pettinger with the Mike Fanelli scholarship.
