SAN FRANCISCO - Ashley Rocha and Shaunessy Cardwell of the San Francisco State softball team both were named to the All-CCAA Softball Team. Rocha earned First Team Honors while Cardwell was named Honorable Mention.

Rocha capped off her finale season with a standout year in centerfield and became the Gator's lead off hitter in the second half of the season. The Clovis native slashed .368/.473/.558 and was the team leader in hits with 57. Her 18 stolen bases ranked both third on the team and in the CCAA.

Cardwell was the everyday first baseman, starting all 51 games there. She slashed .361/.473/.558 and led the team in RBIs (39) doubles (17) home runs (four) and walks (29). Her 53 hits on the season were just behind Rocha's. Her 17 doubles were one she of tying a single season record while her 29 walks ranks fourth in a single season. Defensively, she helped turn 10 double plays.
