SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco State's Raven Nieto was named to the CSC Academic All-District team for cross country and track & field.
 

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Nieto ran the fourth fastest time in program history in the 10000m during track season, clocking in at 37:51.54. She also ran the 10th best time in the 5000m with a time of 17:59.25. During cross country season, Nieto consistently was one of the top finishers for the Gators. She finished 13th at the Golden Gate Invitational to highlight the season. The San Jose native is majoring in Earth Sciences.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
