SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State Wrestling Team announces the addition of 13 Student-Athletes for fall 2026.

• Seventh place 106lbs at CIF State championships, Ranked 11th in the nation at 106lbs via Sports Illustrated, Sixth place 106lbs at the 2026 Doc Buchanan invitational, 2-2 at the Junior Freestyle Fargo Nationals in 2025, Sac-Joaquin Section 106lbs Masters Champion in 2026, All-time team member at 106lbs for Folsom High School

Jameson Moore / Fremont HS / 141 lbs

• Top 12 California State Tournament, California Greco State Champ, Placed Third at California Freestyle State championship, Midcals Champion, Round of 32 at Fargo Nationals

Kai Yi-Berg / Folsom HS / 141 lbs

• Two-time state qualifier and Two-time masters finalist, Won Puma Classic and wrestled at the Doc B tournament

Caleb Quintua / Casa Grande HS / 174 lbs

• Four-time VVAL League Champ 2022-2026, Two-time Section Finalist 2025 and 2026, 100+ high school career wins 2022-2026, State Qualifier in 2026, Top 25 in California (for weight class) in 2025 and 2026

Kayden Hoang / Folsom HS / 165 lbs

• Two-time CIF state Qualifier, SJS Masters Finalist, Three-time Masters placer, Three-time SJS D1 Finalist, Two-time SFL Champ, Doc B Qualifier

Tommy Holguin / Bellarmine HS / 157 lbs

• Finalist for gets sport focus wrestler of the year, Paced seventh at Doc Buchanan, Third in the state of California, League and CCS champ

• Adidas All American, Fargo Qualifier, Two-time HS Academic All State First Team, Three-time HS All Conference, Three-time HS Regional Placer, Three-time HS State Qualifier

Carlos Valdiviezo / Poway HS / 157 lbs

• 2024 Fargo Freestyle All-American, Two-time state qualifier, Two-time CIF champion, Two-time MASTERS champion, 2026 state placer

Issac Torres / Fountain Valley HS / 125lbs

• California State Placer (Seventh), Two-time California National Team Member, CIF Champion in 2023, CAUSA Folkstyle State Champion  in 2024, Reno TOC All-American in 2024, Five Counties Champion 2026, Southern Regionals Placer (Third) in 2025, Western Regionals Placer (Fourth) in 2024

Jacob Perez / Everett Alvarez HS / 165 lbs

• Third at Doc Buchanan, Two-time CCS Champion, Three-time CCS Finalist, Fargo Qualifier, Freestyle State Champion, Third at CIF State

Daniel Frailey / Trabuco Hills HS / 197 lbs

• CIF champ, Eighth place at California State Championships, AP scholar with Distinction and Honors Society

Damian Chitwood / Hilo HS / 141 lbs

• Third place at HHSAA Wrestling State Championships 2026 and Fourth in 2025

The Gators went 7-5 in dual meets last season and had four wrestlers claim MPSF titles. Kydyn Lima gave SF State an All-American in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.
