San Francisco State Athletics Renews Opendorse Partnership to Sustain NIL Success

SAN FRANCISCO and LINCOLN, Neb.  – San Francisco State University Athletics has renewed its partnership with Opendorse, the leading NIL technology, data, and service provider. The renewal ensures Gator student-athletes continue to have access to a comprehensive suite of NIL tools, education, and compliance resources as the Name, Image, and Likeness landscape continues to evolve across all levels of college athletics.

As a Division II program competing in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), San Francisco State has invested in providing its student-athletes with a full platform for NIL success. Through Opendorse, Gators athletes have already secured real brand partnership opportunities, demonstrating that meaningful NIL activity is not reserved for the biggest programs in college athletics.

"We are grateful to continue with Opendorse in providing NIL deals for our student-athletes," said Zoya Volpe, Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance/SWA at San Francisco State Athletics. "Through using Opendorse our student-athletes have been able to make deals with brands like Vuori and Call of Duty. We look forward to seeing the growth of NIL for our student-athletes with this partnership."

Under this renewed agreement, San Francisco State student-athletes retain access to a full suite of NIL tools covering education, content, marketplace, compliance, and data. Together, these resources give athletes a centralized platform to build their personal brands, connect with fans and businesses, manage NIL opportunities compliantly, and track their progress over time. The Gators-branded Marketplace continues to serve as the hub for fans, alumni, and local businesses to connect directly with San Francisco State athletes.

"San Francisco State is a program that understands what NIL can look like when you commit to doing it right," said Jake Daugherty, Director, Collegiate Partnerships at Opendorse. "Seeing their athletes land real brand deals is exactly what this platform is built for, and we are excited to continue building on that momentum with this renewal."

With this renewal, San Francisco State reaffirms its commitment to giving every Gator student-athlete the resources to succeed in the NIL era, on the field, in the classroom, and beyond.
