CERES, Calif. - The San Francisco State women's cross country team raced in the twilight at the Kim Duyst Invitational to open the season. The Gators started at 9 p.m. for their latest start time of the season. They placed third and scored 107 points.

Raven Nieto started off her senior season strong with a 23rd place finish and crossed the finish line at 22:26.6. Cate Tucker placed right behind her and scored for the Gators for the first time in her career, clocking in at 22:37.9. Anika Pettinger and Sara Geiszler also finished back-to-back to place 35th and 36th respectively.
