WSOC | Goal from Davis Ends Pomona Shut-Out Bid in Loss

POMONA, Calif. - The San Francisco State women's soccer team fell to #2 Cal Poly Pomona 4-1 to close out the road trip.

  • SF State falls to 1-4-1 on the season. Cal Poly Pomona improves to 5-0-2 and 2-0-0 in the CCAA
  • Brynn Davis scored her first collegiate goal in the 79th minute.
  • The Gators had three shots on goal with Davis taking two of them.
  • Pomona took 21 shots with seven on goal.
  • The Broncos also held a eight to one advantage on corner kicks.

 How It Happened


The Broncos scored three goals in the first half already making a comeback difficult. They scored their fourth goal off an own goal from the Gators. During the 79th minute, Davis launched a ball from right outside of the corner of the box. The ball sailed over the keeper's head and into the left corner.

Peyton Graham (1-4-1) allowed all four goals. She also made three saves in 55 minutes of action. Parker LaMont played 79 minutes, not allowing a goal during her time.
