FERNDALE, Wash. - The San Francisco State women's cross country team traveled to Washington to race in the Bill Roe Classic. The Gators placed sixth and scored 153 points. Western Washington, the winner of the meet, ranks sixth in the West Region in the latest USTFCCCA Regional polls.
Cate Tucker continued her strong sophomore campaign to lead the Gators at the Bill Roe Classic. She placed 21st with a time of 22:47.2 and was under a second behind the next fastest runner.
Arianna Hurtado placed 29th and was the second Gator to cross the finish line.Â

The Gators will host their annual home invite on October 9 at Golden Gate Park. After the conclusion of the meet, the Gators will honor the seniors of the program.
