Biography

2012: Started a team-high 50 games at first base, hitting .287 with one homer, seven doubles and 14 RBI … Led the squad with 149 plate appearances and ranked third with 39 hits and 49 total bases … Also finished fourth among Gator regulars with a .988 fielding percentage, committing just four errors in 327 chances … Drove in teammate Courtney Gravel with a squeeze bunt as part of a five-run outburst in the first inning to help SF State knock off Northwest Nazarene, 10-8, at the Tournament of Champions (March 31) … Hit .692 (9-13) in a four-game series at Humboldt State in early April, scoring four runs, including her first collegiate homer … Made her first-ever pitching appearance for the Gators in the regular-season finale vs. Sonoma State, posting one walk and one strikeout in a single inning of work (April 21) … Was selected to the Capital One District 8 All-Academic Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and earned her third straight CCAA All-Academic award.

2011:  Appeared in 33 games as a sophomore, making 28 starts at first base ... Led the squad with 219 putouts and ranked second among SF State regulars with a .987 fielding percentage ... Assisted on five double plays ... Doubled home two runs to help the Gators knock off Humboldt State in the second game of a doubleheader ... Hit safely in the final seven games of the season, posting a .391 batting average during that span ... Tied her season high with two hits at the Academy of Art University ... Received scholar-athlete distinction by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and was a CCAA All-Academic honoree for the second year in a row ... Landded on the SF State Athletics Dean’s List for the spring term.

2010: Started all 18 games she played in during her freshman campaign ... Finished fourth on the squad with a .981 fielding percentage, committing just two errors in 106 chances ... Assisted on four double plays ... Scored her first run as a Gator in an 8-0 victory over Cal State East Bay in the second game of a doubleheader ... Notched her first collegiate RBI, which propelled SF State to a 4-3 triumph over Notre Dame de Namur ... Also knocked in a run in the Gators’ 2-0 win in game two vs. Cal State Stanislaus ... Collected a season-high two hits and scored a run to help SF State defeat Western Washington in the opening game of a twin-bill ... Earned NFCA scholar-athlete recognition and was named to the CCAA All-Academic team ... Also earned a spot on the Gator Athletics Dean’s List following the fall semester.

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2009 from Colfax High School where she earned first-team all-Pioneer Valley League accolades as a senior ... Received honorable mention all-conference recognition during her first three years ... Also competed in basketball for the Falcons.
