Biography
Vera is perhaps the most decorated distance runner recruit in recent years at SF State. While running for coach Chris Walsh at CampolindoHigh School, Vera and her teams consistently ran at the top of the California Division III state ranks. She posted wins at the North Coast Section and is listed on many all-time lists for courses in her section. Vera ran the past two years at DiabloValleyCollege becoming the top middle distance runner in Northern California last spring. After a tough two years of competing at the JC level, Vera is looking forward to a reduced racing schedule and focused on being one of the top runners in the CCAA. She has started the season off as our #1 runner and has fit in nicely with her new teammates as she becomes the leader on the trails for SF State.
