Biography

2014:  Earned her third All-American Honors after winning the bronze at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships on March 15…she was named the USFTFCCCA West Region Field Athlete of the Year after taking second at the USTF Indoor National Championships, breaking her own SF State record with a mark of 1.88m…won the Husky Invitational with a mark of 1.85m which is the second best mark in SF State history on February 15.

2013:  Garnered All-American Honors in both the indoor and outdoor season in the high jump…the All-CCAA honoree took second in the Division II Outdoor National Championships with a mark of 1.84m…earlier in the season she took third in the Division II Indoor National Championships clearing the bar set at 1.79m…she was named the CCAA Track and Field Athlete of the week for March 11-17…she placed first in the Brutus Hamilton Invitational hosted by Cal on April 26…she took all-conference honors after winning the high jump at the CCAA Championships for the second-straight year on May 2.

2012 TRACK: Had a successful debut season as a Gator after transferring as a junior ... Finished the indoor season with a mark of 5-7.75 (1.72 meters) on Feb. 11 ... In the outdoor season, set a new SF State high jump record of 5-10.00 (1.78m) on May 5 to qualify for the National Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship ... Grabbed a ninth-place finish at nationals, finishing with a 5-8 mark, just shy of All-American honors.

PRIOR TO SF STATE:  Attended Riverside Community College for two years … Established a new RCC high jump record of 5-09 … Finished second at the 2009 California Community College Championships with a clearance of 5-07 … Was named her team’s most valuable competitor in field events … Graduated in 2007 from Valley View High School, where she received her squad’s Iron Woman award for track and field ... Also played basketball as a prep, earning team MVP honors.

PERSONAL: Majoring in history ... Enjoys cooking, reading, cleaning and playing Call of Duty in spare time.
