2012-13: Went 3-4 last season in injury shorten season...

2011-12: Received the Gators’ Most Improved Wrestler award after securing his first-ever trip to the NCAA Division II Championships with a fourth-place finish in the 149-pound weight class at the Super Regional 4/RMAC meet … Compiled a 24-15 record on the season, leading the team with 46 three-point near falls and seven wins by technical fall … Also ranked second on the squad with five pins … Opened the year with a fourth-place performance at the Mike Clock Senior Open, featuring two victories by fall (Nov. 6) … Racked up a 3-0 mark at the prestigious NWCA National Duals, opening with a 12-6 triumph over Aaron Heiderscheid of then No. 11-Wisconsin Parkside, followed by a pin of Limestone College’s Shawn Landgraff … Ended the day with a 16-8 triumph by major decision over Scott Neumann of Central Missouri as the Gators pulled away for a 31-13 win over the Mules (Jan. 7) … Scored a 14-4 major decision over Adams State’s fourth-ranked Josh Hensley at the Grand Canyon Duals (Jan. 28) … Provided the winning points in SF State’s stirring 20-16 come-from-behind win at home over CSU Bakersfield, collecting a 16-0 victory by technical fall against Erik Martinez in the final bout of the match (Feb. 3) … Maintained the momentum the following day with a second-place finish at the California Collegiate Open, adding two more wins by technical fall and a major decision (Feb. 4) … Upset eighth-ranked Ethan Swope of Gannon by a 3-0 count to open the DII national championships … Could not advance in the bracket, however, after experiencing two defeats at the hands of Maryville’s John Hagerty and Nathan Link of Pittsburgh-Johnstown (March 9).

2010-11: Collected eight victories in the 141-pound weight class during his first season as a Gator … Recorded a pair of third-place finishes at the Mike Clock Senior Open and Menlo Invitational … Also competed in two dual meets apiece at 149 and 157 … Captured the 141-pound title as an unattached grappler at SF State’s own JC Invitational … Finished fourth on the team with 10 three-point near falls ... Was named to the SF State Athletics honor roll for the spring semester.

2009-10: Utilized redshirt season ... Earned a spot on the SF State Athletics Dean’s List following the spring semester.

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2009 from College Park High School ... Finished third in the 130-pound weight classat the CIF North Coast Section meet as a senior and placed fourth in the CIF Championships ... Was voted the Diablo Valley Athletic League’s Most Valuable Wrestler ... Turned in a fifth-place performance at the 2009 freestyle state meet ... Also took second at the NCS championships as a junior.
