Biography

2014 Outdoor:  Appeared in six meets for the Gators in the outdoor season…took 17th in the javelin with a throw of 22.49m (73’-9”) in her first outdoor meet of the season…on April 4 at the Distance Carnival she had an outstanding weekend setting career-bests in two of the three events she competed…took fifth in the long jump with a mark of 5.47m (17-11.50”), also took sixth in the high jump with a season-high mark of 1.48m (4-10.25”)…placed 12th in the javelin with a season-high mark of 23.49m (77’-01”)…at the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 18 she finished 13th in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 5.51m (18-1.00”) which is tied for eighth all-time….took 17th in the long jump at the CCAA Championships with a mark of 5.21m…took eighth in the triple jump with a career-best mark of 11.04m (36’-2.75”).

2014 Indoor:  Competed in two meets for the Gators during the indoor season…took 18th overall in the long jump with a mark of 16-7.75…at the Ed Jacoby Invitational and Multi on February 1 she took 14th in the long jump with a distance of 4.80m.

2012 TRACK: Made her mark in the SF State Record Book in just her first season as a Gator ... Picked up a team-best 17-09.00 mark in the long jump at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship Meet on May 4, tying her for 10th among the all-time bests ... Also grabbed an eighth all-time best triple jump mark of 36-06.25 at the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 20.

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred from San Jose City College where she competed for two years as the school’s first female pole vaulter … Captured the pole vault title at the 2011 Coast Conference Championships with a clearance of 10-02.75 … Prepped at James Lick High School, where she was received team MVP honors in track and field for three straight years … Was also named the Comets’ Athlete of the Year and Senior of the Year in 2008 … Qualified for the 2008 CIF state meet in the triple jump after placing second at the Central Coast Section Championships with a mark of 37-05 … Also ran cross country and served as cheerleading captain at JLHS.
