Biography
2014 Outdoor: Earned All-American Honors running the fourth leg of the Gators 4x100 meter relay that that finished eighth in the Division II Outdoor National Championships, the Gators finished with a time of 46.46 which is the second best finish all season and third best in SF State history…made her 2014 outdoor debut at the Kim Duyst Invitational on March 1 appeared in two events…took ninth in the 100m dash with a time of 13.61…took sixth in the long jump with a mark of 4.80m (15’-9.00”)…on March 8 she took seventh in the 100m dash with a time of 12.90…ran the third leg of the 4x100 relay that took third with a time of 47.59…took fourth in the long jump with a leap of 5.04m…on March 22 at the Johnny Mathis Invitational she placed fifth in the 100m dash with a time of 12.46, her best mark of the season…she took second in the long jump with a leap of 5.59m which is third all-time at SF State…on April 12 at the Chico Twilight Meet she placed 15th in the 200m dash with a time of 26.63 which is a season-best mark…that same meet she took seventh in the 100m dash with a time of 12.31 in a wind aided time.
2014 Indoor: Took 21st in the long jump and was first in her heat with a leap of 16’-5.75” at the UW Preview in the first meet of the indoor season…on January 24 at the Jackson’s Invite took 50th overall in the 200m dash and was third in her heat with a time of 27.34 which was a seasonal-best…also took 11th in the long jump in that meet and 23rd in the 60m dash with a time of 8.39 which was a season-best mark…on February 17 at the Run For The Dream Meet she placed third overall in the 55m dash with a time of 7.50 which was the ninth best time in SF State history…ran the second leg of the 4x145 relay that placed first with a time of 75.33 and took second in the long jump with a mark of 5.45m (17-10.75) which was second all-time at SF State.
2012 TRACK: During her debut indoor season, posted times of 8.30 in the 60-meter dash (1/21) and 9.54 in the 60m hurdles (2/4) ... also grabbed a 15-0.67 mark in the long jump at the Cherry & Silver Invitational on Jan. 20 ... For the outdoor season, jumped a career-best 17-00.50 at the Bryan Clay Invitation in Azusa, Calif. on April 20, the second-highest jump on the team ... Also ran the 100m and 100m hurdle events, clocking in at 13.02 (3/17) and 15.75 (5/4), respectively ... Was named to both the SF State Athletics Dean's List and the California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic team after boasting a 3.40 or higher GPA.
PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2011 from Harvard-Westlake High School, where she captured three straight Mission League long jump titles … Ran the anchor leg of her team’s 4x100 relay that reached the conference finals on three occasions and took home the Mission League Championship in 2011 … In addition, her quartet placed seventh at the 2011 CIF Southern Section Division III Championships with a time of 48.71 … Finished third in the emerging elite long jump event at the 2011 New Balance Championships with a leap of 17-09 … Also played basketball as a prep, earning All-Mission League honors as a senior and helping the team claim two CIF Championships in 2009 and 2011.
PERSONAL: Originally from Northridge, Calif. ... Has not yet declared a major ... Named "Best Laugh" at Harvard-Westlake HS ... enjoys watching movies, going to the beach and playing basketball in her spare time.
