2016: Earned West Region honors for the third time in his career…finished in the top-25 in every race this season…began 2016 taking 16
th at the Speedway Duals finishing with a time of 23:49…earned CCAA Runner of the Week on Sept. 24 after taking second at the Yellowjacket Invitational, crossing the line with a time of 32:21.50 in the 10k race…took 20
th at the CCAA Championships with a time of 25:26.5…placed 13
th overall out of 168 runners at the NCAA Division II West Region Championships at Amend Park in Billings, Mont., finished with a time of 30:35.0.
2015: Appeared in all five races…earned All-Region honors for finishing 15
th at the NCAA Division II West Regionals…earned All-CCAA honors for the second time in his career…took third overall at the CCAA Championships, finished with a time of 24:35.0 a new career-best in the 8K race…finished ninth at the SF State Quad Meet at Golden Gate Park’s Speedway Meadow, finished with a time of 23:38 in the 7250k race…was named to the 2016 Spring Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
2014: Was named to the All-CCAA team after finishing 15th at the CCAA Championships…raced in all five races for the Gators in 2014 and placed in the top-20 in three races…took 10th at the Tri-Meet hosted by SF State on Sept. 18…took fourth at the Triton Classic on Oct. 25…placed 15th at the CCAA Championships with a time of 25:54.9…took 51st at the NCAA Division II West Regionals, clocking in with a time of 32:33.52…was also named to the CCAA All-Academic Team… named the SF State Male Newcomer of the Year… was named to the Fall 2014 Honor Roll and Dean’s List as well as the Spring 2015 Honor Roll and Dean’s List.
2013: Earned All-West Region Honors after finishing 18th at the NCAA Division II West Regionals…finished the 10k race with a time of 37:30.5…took 23rd at the CCAA Championships on Oct. 26, finishing with a time of 25:56.4…made his 2014 debut at the Crystal Springs Invitational on Sept.7 finishing third with a time of 27:31…on Sept. 28 at the Roy Griak Invitational he placed 55th out of 468 runners with a time of 26?35.5 a personal record in the 8k.
2012: Ran unattached in his collegiate debut ... grabbed a personal-best 8K time of 26:43.0 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational (10/13).
Prior to SF State: Graduated in 2012 from Valencia High School where he earned his team’s most valuable runner award all four years … Helped the Tigers capture three Empire League championships … Collected Orange County Athlete of the Week honors during his senior season … Was also a starting infielder on Valencia High’s baseball team.
