2018 Outdoor: Threw a 10.85m in shot put and a 34.06m in discus at the Cal Poly Invitational… notched a season-high 35.96m in discus and an 11.49m in shot put at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival… placed sixth in shot put at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational, throwing an 11.11m… wrapped up the year at the CCAA Championships with a season-best 39.18m in hammer… also recorded 34.36m in discus and an 11.14m in shot the same meet.

2017 Outdoor:  Appeared in eight meets in her sophomore season … finished in the top-10 in the shot put, discus and hammer throw at the Johnny Mathis Invitational … at the Bulldog Invitational on Apr. 22 she placed 17^th in the discus with a career-best throw of 37.92 meters … at the CCAA Championships she recorded a season-best throw in the shot put with a throw of 11.69 meters, good enough or ninth place … that same meet she placed ninth in the hammer with a throw of 39.94 meters, a career-best mark.

2016 Outdoor:  Made her outdoor debut at the Johnny Mathis Invitational on Feb. 27 where she took fourth in the shot put with a season-best throw of 12.12 meters…at the Cal Poly Invitational she set a season-high throw in the discus with a throw of 35.99 meters…at the CCAA Championships she set a season-high in the hammer with a throw of 39.00 meters.
 
2016 Indoor:  Made her collegiate debut at the 2016 UW Indoor Preview competing in the shot put and weight throw…at that meet she set a season-high in the shot put with a throw of 11.12 meters.

Prior to SF State:  Joins the Gators track and field team after lettering in track and field at Gridley High School...was a very decorated member of Gridley's team...she was the Butte View League shot put champion four-straight years...was the North Section Champion in the shot her sophomore and senior year...earned the Bulldog Award (MVP) for Track three years...placed 11th in the CIF State Meet in her senior campaign.

Personal: Parents are David and Guadalupe Cardenas...has two siblings David and Stephanie...hobbies include playing board games, spending time with her family, and watching YouTube videos.
