Before San Francisco State: Spent the 2018 season at Long Beach State, where he appeared in 51 games with 47 starts; Batted .244 with 18 runs and 18 RBIs, five doubles, a triple, and two homers; Stole four bases… Played 2016 and 2017 seasons at Sacramento City College, where he hit a combined .308 with a .392 OBP… Was a Big 8 Conference Honorable Mention selection in 2016, then a Second Team All-Big 8 selection in 2017… Hit .329 as a freshman in 2016… In 36 games as a sophomore, hit .297 with eight doubles, a triple and a home run; scored 26 drove in 23 RBIs, and swiped eight bases… Prepped at Laguna Creek HS, where he was a two-year varsity player… As a senior in 2014, batted .338 and had a .435 OBP to go with 15 runs scored and 10 RBIs… Also made seven appearances as a pitcher that season; went 3-3 with a 1.73 ERA in 32.1 innings.
