Biography

2009-10: Posted seven victories before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury in early January … Went 4-2 at the Fullerton Open, featuring a 5-3 decision over Blake Ginsburg of the Division I host school Titans (Nov. 21) … Notched a pair of wins at the Menlo Invitational, including a 15-0 blanking of Simon Fraser’s Jug Gill (Jan. 3) … Also competed at the prestigious Midlands Championships (Dec. 29) and the NWCA National Duals (Jan. 9.).

2008-09: Racked up a 9-11 record in his second season as a Gator, including a 3-2 mark at the California Collegiates where he finished fourth ... Ended the year with a 2-2 record at the NCAA Division II West Regional/RMAC Championships ... Went 2-0 in a pair of home duals on Jan. 30, defeating Brian Irwin of then-No. 13 Chadron State, 7-6, before knocking off Cal Baptist’s Russell Delmar, 6-2 ... Also notched one of two Gator wins at Southern Oregon, capturing an 8-5 decision over the Raiders’ Michael Lauer.

2007-08: Finished with 6-8 record, including two wins by fall ... Recorded a pin at the California Collegiates and also in a dual meet against Teddy Bristol of Division I Cal State Fullerton.

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated from Vacaville High School in 2007... Member of state championship team ... Was a two-time Monticello Empire League champion and CIF Sac-Joaquin Section winner ... Finished second in state and sixth in nation.

PERSONAL: Son of Robert and Terese Sesar ... Has two siblings... Majoring in art.
