Before SF State: Competed at Ohlone College in 2018 and 2019, where he was named a 2019 Rawlings JuCo West Region Gold Glove Second Baseman with a .991 fielding percentage… Pacific Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Pacific Coast Middle Infielder Golden Glove Winner… Led Ohlone to Super Regional Championship in 2018 and 2019 and made the NorCal Final Four in 2019… In 2019, hit .314 with a .459 on-base percentage… 2018 Fall World Series MVP… Graduated De La Salle in 2017… Named the De La Salle Most Inspirational Player in 2016 and 2017… Part of North Coast Section Championship team in 2017… 2017 East Bay Athletic League Scholar-Athlete.
Why SF State: Drawn to San Francisco State University because of the reputable baseball program Coach Schifano has built, known for its “family” environment and championship style baseball. Wanted to be a Gator so he could be back home in the Bay Area and get a degree from the renowned BECA (Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts) department.
Future Goals After SF State: Pursuing a career in sports broadcasting, as well as coach baseball at the college and professional levels.
