2009-10: Appeared in five matches in the 165-pound weight class as a junior … Recorded his first collegiate victory with a pin of unattached wrestler Manuel Villagomez at the Fullerton Open (Nov. 21) … Also cracked the starting lineup in a doubleheader against Cal State Fullerton and Cal Baptist (Dec. 11).

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred from Bakersfield College ... Posted a fifth-place finish in the 157-pound weight class at the 2006 California Community College Championships ... Graduated in 2006 from Wasco High School ... Was crowned South Sequoia League champion on three occasions while capturing a pair of San Joaquin Valley titles ... Twice qualified for the CIF state meet ... Also played football and golf for the Tigers.
