2011 TRACK: Has emerged as one of the finest sprinters in SF State history, earning All-America honors in both indoor and outdoor competition after running the anchor leg of the Gators’ record-setting 4x400 relay teams … Her indoor relay placed second in the country with a new school standard of 3:47.03 (March 12), while her outdoor quartet posted a fifth-place result of 3:45.81, which also tops the school’s all-time charts (May 28) … Qualified for the national outdoor championships in the 400 meters as well, after logging a career-fast time of 55.45 at the University of California’s Brutus Hamilton Invitational, which ranks fourth in school history (April 23) … Garnered all-conference accolades in the same event after finishing second with a 55.65 clocking at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships (May 7) … Surpassed an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time in the 200 with a wind-aided result of 24.37 at the Beach Invitational (April 16) … Moved into a tie for seventh place on the school’s all-time outdoor charts in the 100 with a 12.17 clocking at the Gators’ own Johnny Mathis Invitational (April 2) … Equaled her career-best indoor 60 meter time of 7.78 at the New Mexico Classic (Feb. 5) … Also logged a season-best 25.39 in the 200 at the same meet … Was named to the inaugural all-West Region team by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
2010 TRACK: Established a new indoor school record in the 200 meters with a 25.26 clocking at the University of New Mexico’s Cherry and Silver Invitational (Jan. 23) … Also recorded the school’s second-best time in the 60 meters at the same meet, crossing the finish line in 7.78 … Ran the opening leg of the Gators’ 4x400 relay that logged the school’s second-fastest indoor time of 4:01.00 at the New Mexico Classic (Feb. 6) … Posted a 57.43 clocking in the 400 meters at SF State’s own Johnny Mathis Invitational, which ranks seventh on the school’s all-time outdoor performance list (April 3) … Ran the second leg of the Gators’ 4x100 relay that recorded the ninth-fastest time in SF State history (48.13) at the same meet … Was also the second runner on the Gators’ 4x400 relay that finished with the school’s fifth-best clocking (3:53.74) at the UC Davis Classic (March 20) … Placed third in the 200 with an outdoor season-best time of 25.62 at the same meet … Earned SF State scholar-athlete recognition and was named to the Gator Athletics Dean’s List for both the fall and spring semesters.
2009 TRACK: Captured all-conference honors with a third-place finish in the 100 meters (12.23) at the CCAA Championships ... Also placed fourth in the 200 at the league meet with a wind-aided time of 25.10 ... Took third in the 100 (12.20) and fifth in the 200 (25.00w) at the Sacramento State Open, which rank eighth and 10th, respectively, on the Gators’ all-time outdoor list ... Turned a fourth-place effort in the 200 (25.42) at the Beach Invitational ... Ran the second leg of SF State’s 4x100 relay team which posted a season-best clocking of 47.91 to place third at the Hornet Invitational ... Anchored the Gators’ 4x400 relay team which recorded the sixth-best outdoor time in school history (3:57.68) at the Stanford Invitational ... Made a big splash in her collegiate debut at the UW Husky Winter Preview with a second-place performance in the 60 meters (7.82), which ranks second on the SF State’s all-time indoor charts ... Ran anchor on the Gators’ 4x400 relay that posted the school’s second-fastest indoor time of 4:01.80 at the Husky Classic.
PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated from Oakmont High School in 2008 ... Captured first place in the 100, 4x100 relay and high jump at the Sierra Foothills League Championships as a senior ... Qualified for the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section finals in the 100, 200, 4x100 and high jump as well ... Was also a member of the 4x400 relay team that competed at the California State Championships ... Took home league titles in the 100, 200 and 4x100 relay as a junior ... Won the same three events as a sophomore when Oakmont was a member of the Pioneer Valley League ... Captured PVL high jump crown as a freshman ... Earned team MVP honors for three straight years from 2005-07 ... Recipient of the Track and Field Coaches Award as a senior ... Was voted her school’s Female Athlete of the Season in the spring of 2007 ... Received U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award in 2008 ... Two-time winner of the Gold Academic Merit Award.
