Biography
2011 TRACK: Was a key contributor to the team’s monumental success last season as a junior, serving as the lead runner on the Gator 4x400 relay teams that captured All-America honors at both the Division II indoor and outdoor national championships … Her indoor relay finished second in the country, setting a new school standard of 3:47.03 (March 12), while her outdoor quartet posted a fifth-place result of 3:45.81, which tops the Gator all-time charts as well (May 28) … Ran the anchor leg on SF State’s record-setting 4x100 relay (46.52) that qualified for the DII outdoor meet after placing second at the highly competitive Beach Invitational (April 16) … Also registered a personal-best time of 12.17 in the 100 at the same meet, which is tied for seventh in Gator history … Logged two additional career-fast performances in the 400 (57.01) and 200 (25.20) at the Johnny Mathis (April 2) and Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitationals (April 9), respectively … Climbed into seventh place on the SF State all-time performance list with her effort in the 400 … Enjoyed a highly productive indoor campaign as well, clocking in with a school-record 25.16 in the 200 to go along with a personal-best 7.92 in 60-meter dash at the New Mexico Invitational, which ranks third in Gator history (Feb. 5) … Was named to the inaugural all-West Region teams for both the indoor and outdoor seasons by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association ... Also garnered all-academic accolades from the USTFCCCA … Earned a spot on the SF State Athletics Dean’s List for the spring semester.
2010 TRACK: Recorded a lifetime best in the 200 meters after crossing the finish line with a winning time of 25.47 at the Soka Peace Invitational (April 17) … Also logged the Gators’ top performance of the year in the 100 (12.57) at the same meet … Ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay that posted the fourth-fastest time in SF State history (3:52.95) at the University of California’s Brutus Hamilton Invitational (April 24) … Her relay was also victorious at Cal State Stanislaus’ Kim Duyst Invite (March 6) … Was the third runner on the Gators’ 4x100 relay that finished with the ninth-best clocking in school history (48.13) at SF State’s own Johnny Mathis Invitational (April 3) … Qualified for the finals of the 100 meters at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships (May 8) … Ran the second leg of the 4x400 relay that recorded the second-fastest indoor time in school history (4:01.00) at the New Mexico Classic … Her relay also won its heat at the UW Indoor Preview (Jan. 16) … Landed on the Gator Athletics Dean’s List following the fall semester and was named to the honor roll for the spring.
2009 TRACK: Was a member of both the Gators’ 4x100 (47.91) and 4x400 (3:57.68) relay teams that posted season-fast times at the Sacramento State Hornet Invitational and Stanford Invitational, respectively ... Recorded a pair of first-place finishes while running in both relays at SF State’s own Johnny Mathis Invitational ... Finished fourth in the 100 meters at that meet with a wind-aided season-best 12.57 clocking ... Logged the Gators’ second-fastest time of the year in the 200 (25.98) and the 400 (1:00.12) at the Hornet Invite and Chico Twilights, respectively ... Qualified for the finals of the 100 and 200 at the CCAA Outdoor Championships ... Set a school indoor record with a time of 1:41.77 in the 600 at the Lobo Opener ... Also posted an 8.07 clocking in the 60-meter dash at that same meet, which ranks fourth on the SF State all-time indoor performance list.
PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated from Milpitas High School in 2008 ... Was the De Anza League champion in the 200 meters as a senior ... Qualified for the 2008 CIF Central Coast Section Championships where she posted a sixth-place finish in the 100 and a seventh-place performance in the 200 ... Also competed in cross country for the Trojans.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Michael Thomas and Peaun Lee ... Has one sister, Molly who also attends SF State ... Majoring in geology.
