PERSONAL:  Downing transferred this past Fall to SF State from New Mexico State University, where he played baseball there for the Aggies the past two seasons...He graduated from Half Moon Bay HS in 2005...Second Team All-Pac Ocean Conference...Also played basketball in high school...Son of Bill and Chris Downing and brother of Erin...Likes to play basketball and baseball in free time...Majoring in Communications.
