PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2009 from Temecula Valley High School ... Captured the CIF Southern Section Inland Division crown at 112 pounds in 2007 and 2008 ... Was also the Greco-Roman and Freestyle state champion in 2009 ... Claimed three Southwestern League titles as well.

PERSONAL: Parents are Lenard and Jeanne Barrales ... Has one brother, Ethan ... Enjoys dancing and listening to hip-hop music ... Plans to major in communications at SF State.
