2012-13: Sat out due to injury last season.

2011-12: Racked up 11 wins during his junior campaign, featuring a second-place performance at the Gators’ own California Collegiate Open (Feb. 4) … Captured both ends of a dual-meet doubleheader at home, outlasting CSU Bakersfield’s Ruben Franklin by 7-6 count before collecting a 15-6 victory by major decision over Kyle Matthews of Cal Baptist (Feb. 3) … Provided SF State with some early momentum in a 5-2 triumph over Menlo’s Greg Alvarez, helping the Gators pull away for a 23-9 win over the Oaks in the regular-season finale on the road (Feb. 8) … Also competed at the NCAA Division II Super Regional 4/RMAC Championships for the third straight year (Feb. 25).

2010-11: Wrestled primarily at 184 pounds during his sophomore campaign … Earned a No. 7 ranking in the preseason individual poll by the National Wrestling Coaches Association … Placed sixth at the NCAA Division II Super Regional 4/Rocky Mountain Athletic Championships (Feb. 27) … Collected two wins at the prestigious NWCA National Duals, including a 16-4 major decision over Western State’s John Finkbiner as the Gators upset the fourth-ranked Mavericks, 25-17 … Came away with a pair of victories in the 197-pound weight class at the Fullerton Open, featuring a pin of Grand Canyon’s Eric Fan (Nov. 20) … Ranked sixth on the squad with 34 takedowns.

2009-10: Tallied 14 wins on the season as a true freshman … Led the squad with 52 escapes and tied for fourth with 42 takedowns … Qualified for the national meet after a second-place showing at the NCAA Division II Super Regional 4/Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 27) … Earned a sudden victory over Adams State’s third-seeded Torben Walters in the quarterfinals, before knocking off No. 2 seed Chance Rencountre of Fort Hays State by a 5-4 count in the semis … Title hopes were derailed, however, after suffering a defeat by fall at the hands of Western State’s top-seeded Charlie Pipher in the championship bout … Notched a 6-4 decision over Kellen Desmond of CSU-Pueblo at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite … Posted a 6-0 shutout of Cal State Fullerton’s Dylan Klink for his first-ever win in dual meet action (Dec. 11) … Pinned Kyle Studer of Cumberland (Tenn.) at the Menlo Invitational (Jan. 3) … Also competed at the prestigious Midlands Championships (Dec. 29) and the NWCA National Duals (Jan. 9).

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2009 from Palma High School in Salinas, Calif. ... Qualified for the CIF state meet all four years, finishing second in his weight class as a junior ...
