Allison joined San Francisco State as the team's hitting coach ahead of the 2019 season.
From 2013 to 2018, Allison served as the hitting coach at Saint Joseph's, where the Hawks compiled a 155-145 record. In 2016, the Hawks shattered the program record for home runs in a season with 57, en route to the program's second-ever 30-win season. He was also a part of that program's 2014 season, in which the Hawks won a program-best 35 games and finished in second place in the Atlantic 10.
Prior to Hawk Hill, Allison spent three seasons as the hitting coach at Menlo College.
From 2003 to 2008, Allison was the head coach at Willamette in Salem, Oregon. He has also served as an assistant coach at Cal, Cal Poly, Cornell, Georgetown, and SUNY Cortland.
Allison is a 1982 graduate of UC Riverside and received master's degrees from Syracuse and the New School for Social Research.
