Biography

2011:  Started in 16 games...Was the Gators' back-up at catcher....2010:  Saw action in 27 games and started in 25, primarily at the back stop position...Had one home run and four doubles....Recorded a .309 on-base percentage...PERSONAL:   Matt transfered to SF State from University of San Francisco. Before attending USF, Matt graduated from St. Francis high school in. While there he was 2nd Team All-League, Gold Glove with team, and All-Area team. Matt also played football in high school as well. He is son of Juan and Joni Quintero and brother of Andrew. Matt is majoring in Kinesiology.
