2011: Enjoyed a spectacular debut campaign for the Purple and Gold, earning all-conference honors after finishing 14th at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with an 8K time of 26:35.70 (Oct. 22) ... Garnered CCAA Runner of the Week accolades following a runner-up performance at the 4.2-mile Notre Dame de Namur Invitational (21:48), where he helped the Gators win the first of four straight meets to begin the season (Sept. 3) ... Also finished in the ninth spot at the University of Washington’s Sundodger Invite with an 8K season-fast time of 25:17.93, which ranks eighth in school history (Sept. 17) ... Was SF State’s No. 4 finisher at the 10K NCAA Division II West Regionals, where he placed 46th after crossing the finish line at 32:54 (Nov. 5) ... Also competed at the Sonoma State (Oct. 1) and SF State Invitationals (Oct. 7).

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred to SF State from Pasadena City College where he was a teammate of Gator signee Will Zentmyer … Placed 47th out of 219 competitors at the state JC meet as sophomore in 2009, logging a time of 21:13.42 at Woodward Park in Fresno … Established a new personal best of 15:15.57 in 5,000 meters at Cal State Fullerton’s Ben Brown Invitational during his freshman track season … Took home the steeplechase crown at the 2010 South Coast Conference Championships with a career-fast 9:31 clocking … Graduated in 2008 from Don Bosco Tech in Rosemead, Calif. … Helped his prep cross country team to the Del Rey League championship as a senior and also captured individual track titles in the 1,600 and 3,200.
