Before San Francisco State: Transferred from Long Beach City College, wherehe was twice named to All-CCCAA Teams… Was a two-time Moore League Goalkeeper of the Year… Defensive Player of the Year… Two-time All-CIF Team selection… Two-time National Cup Champions… Played club for LA Galaxy Academy and Strikers Academy.

Personal: Parents Rosalinda Chavez and Jesus De La Torre… Older brother Oscar and younger brother Diego.
