Biography

2012: Enjoyed a highly productive season as a true freshman, hitting .284 with two homers in 41 games … Made 28 starts at designated player, two at second base and two in left field … Tied for the team lead with eight doubles and ranked second with 13 walks … Finished third on the squad with a .391 on-base percentage, 18 RBI and 18 runs scored … Logged seven multiple-hit games on the year … Belted her first collegiate round-tripper in the first game of a doubleheader at Cal State East Bay (Feb. 11) … Posted a season-high three RBI, including the game-winner, as SF State rallied to defeat then-No. 10 UC San Diego (Feb. 25) … Drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth inning in the Gators’ thrilling 10-8 victory over Northwest Nazarene at the Tournament of Champions (March 31) … Went 3-for-4 with a homer and two runs scored to help lift the Purple and Gold past Humboldt State, 9-3 (April 7) … Was named to the SF State Athletics Dean’s List following the fall semester.

PRIOR TO SF STATE:  Graduated in 2011 from Yucaipa High School where she won three varsity letters for head coach David Kivett … Earned first-team all-Citrus Belt League honors as a junior in 2010 to go along with a pair of second-team selections as a sophomore and senior … Collected her team’s most valuable player award on two occasions and was twice voted the squad’s offensive  and defensive player of the year after helping the Thunderbirds to consecutive appearances at the CIF Southern Section Division I playoffs in 2010 and 2011 … Received scholar-athlete recognition … Also played for the SoCal Fillies club team from 2008-11.
