She holds the fourth most wins in program history and reached the 100-win mark in the team's first game of 2023, a 3-2 win over Hawai'i Pacific. In 2019, Reid's second season, the Gators reached the postseason for the first time since 2007 and the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2006 as they went 39-20 including 26-13 in CCAA play. The 39 wins are the most since 2006, and the 26 CCAA victories are the most conference wins in a season ever. SF State set the program record in runs scored (336), hits (524), RBI (290), doubles (91) and steals (129). In her first season at the helm, Reid led the Gators to a 24-31 record including 19-21 in CCAA action, and the 24 victories were the third-most by a first-year head coach in program history. Under her tutelage, SF State placed four on the All-CCAA team, which were the most honorees since 2006. She also helped the Gators defeat Humboldt State for the first time since 2014 and record the most stolen bases, sacrifices, and double plays turned in program history. SF State logged the fourth-best batting average in Gator history as well as top-ten marks in wins, runs, hits, RBI, doubles, and triples.

Prior to joining the Gators, Reid spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Humboldt State. During her time there, the Lumberjacks went 239-72-1. HSU also made three trips to the NCAA Division II Softball Championships, including back-to-back appearances in 2016 and 2017 and finals appearance in 2016. Those same three seasons, the HSU coaching staff was named West Region Coaching Staff of the Year by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

As a student-athlete, Reid earned All-CCAA honors as a senior at Humboldt State. She started all 51 games, and hit .337 with 14 home runs. A member of the CCAA All-Academic Team, Reid spent her first two seasons at Stanislaus State, where she also was a member of the women's basketball team as a freshman. She played for and was an assistant for one season under Frank Cheek, who is a member of the San Francisco State Athletics Hall of Fame.

Reid earned her BA in elementary education and an MS in Kinesiology with an emphasis on teaching/coaching.
