Tayler Misfeldt joins the Gator coaching staff ahead of the 2019-20 season.

Prior to joining SF State, Misfeldt served as an assistant coach at Holy Names University. A four-year standout at UC Riverside, Misfeldt accumulated 424 strikeouts and 58 wins to become UC Riverside's all-time leader in both categories. She was second in the Big West her sophomore year in complete games, wins, and innings pitched, and was a two-time Big West All-Conference Second Team honoree.

In 2018, the hurler helped lead the Highlanders to the NISC Championships where they took second place. That season Midfeldt went 21-13 with 182 strikeouts in 189.1 innings while being named a Big West Honorable Mention.
