Biography

2014:  Played in all 55 games, was one of three players to do that for the Gators, started 54…hit a team-leading .347 going 61-for-176…the 61 hits ranks just outside of the top-10 in a single season at SF State, it was also 14th in the CCAA…led the Gators with 31 runs scored…led the team with 17 multi-hit games, four of which were three hit-games…tied for the team best with a 10-game hitting streak from 2/22-3/11…in CCAA action she hit .333 which was second on the team, going 38-for-114..her 38 hits was tied for 11th most in the conference...she scored 18 runs and clubbed six doubles and a home run in conference play…her lone home run of the season came on Feb. 15 against Cal State East Bay, she went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run…Gravel feasted off right handed pitching, hitting .376 going 53-for-141…hit .408 with runners on base and .483 with runners in scoring position.

2013: All-CCAA...Batted .301 with 43 hits of which two were doubles and one was a triple...Scored 9 times and drove in 21 runs...2-for-2 in stolen base attempts...Started in 42 of the 47 games she played in last year.

2012: Made an immediate impact in her first season at SF State, starting 43 of 44 games she played … Hit .321 with two homers and 16 runs batted in … Led the squad with 44 hits and 58 total bases … Finished with a team-best 11 multiple-hit games and tied for the top spot with eight doubles … Posted a .531 batting average during a nine-game hitting streak from March 31- April 13 … Recorded a season-high four hits vs. Grand Canyon at the Tournament of Champions (March 31) … Combined for six RBI in the Gators’ doubleheader sweep at Humboldt State, including the winning grand slam in a wild 14-12 triumph in game one (April 7) … Also smacked a three-run homer to help lift the Purple and Gold past Cal State Stanislaus by a 4-3 count at home (April 17) … Added three hits, including an RBI double, to fuel the Gators’ 4-3 triumph over Notre Dame de Namur the following day (April 18) … Was the co-recipient of team’s defensive player of the year award and did not commit an error in 86 chances over the final 28 games of the year.

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2011 from Sutter Union High School, where she won four varsity letters for head coach Raoul Singh … Batted a team-high .602 with 17 doubles and six triples as a senior … Helped the Huskies to three Butte View League championships and CIF Northern Section titles … Garnered all-conference accolades and all-area recognition all four years … Was also a four-time all-Northern Section honoree … Collected her squad’s MVP award on three occasions … Landed on the Cal-High Sports all-state team as an infielder and was a Lions All-Star selection … Named Sutter Union High’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2011 … Also played basketball as a prep.
