San Francisco State University

Cheo White joined the San Francisco State women's basketball coaching staff for the 2019-20 season.

Most recently, White served as an intern for the 2019 NBA Summer League and was part of the game operations staff for the Santa Cruz Warriors.

White was an assistant coach alongside Natasha Smith in 2013 with Cal State Dominguez Hills. That team won the 2014 CCAA Tournament and earned a berth to the NCAA West Regional.

In 2014, he served as an assistant coach for Las Positas JC men's basketball. That team made the second round of the CCCAA State playoffs.

He took the varsity girls head coaching position at San Lorenzo High School in 2015 and led that team to the first round of the North Coast Section Division II playoffs. In 2016, he moved to the boys side and served as head coach at St. Elizabeth High School That team made it ot the second round of the North Coast Section Division V playoffs.

White returned to the college rank in 2017, serving as an assistant at Chabot. In 2018, he served as an assistant at Notre Dame de Namur, where he played a role with advance scouting, recruiting, and guard skill development.

White earned his BA in Psychology with a minor in Kinesiology from San Jose State. He also earned a Teaching Credential, Physical Education from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
