San Francisco State University

Henley heads into his first season as an assistant coach at San Francisco State specializing in video coordinating, scouting, and late game situations. 

The previous 2023-2024 season he served as the lead assistant at Cal State Maritime under head coach Imhotet Amen Ra. 

The 2022-2023 season Henley held a position as an assistant for Las Positas Junior College women’s basketball team. Throughout his tenure he helped head coach Caleb Theodore resurrect a program from scratch as it did not exist in previous seasons. 

Before joining the college ranks, Henley was an assistant at Rio Americano High School under Chris Jones where he helped the Raiders earn a section playoff berth and end a decade-long losing streak to rival Jesuit High School. 

Henley also served as the head coach of the AAU program Team Tet based out of Sacramento, California since the summer of 2021. The team has traveled nationally as far as New York and regionally along the west coast against a variety of other well known programs. 

Henley created a well-deserved reputation with expertise in skill development thanks to his  experience as an independent basketball trainer. Since 2017, Henley’s knowledge was applied in group and individual environments with players from elementary through high school levels.
