PRIOR TO SF STATE:  The native of Bakersfield, Calif., comes to the Gators by way of the College of Sequoias where she was a two-time letter winner for the Giants…in her sophomore season she earned Second Team All-Conference honors on a squad that finished the year 29-4 and advanced to the Elite Eight…that season she played in 21 games, making 15 starts and averaged 4.3 points per game…prior to College of Sequoias she attended Bakersfield High School where she was a three-time letter winner in basketball for the Drillers…in high school she was awarded Rookie of the Year honors, Defensive player of the Year honors twice, and honorable mention accolades…she was also a member of the track and field team…parents are Jimmy and Tamika Henry, has two siblings, a brother Jimmy and a sister Jamia.
