Biography
2012 TRACK: Competed in six meets during her first track season as a Gator … Recorded a career-best time of 4:50.03 in the 1,500 meters at Azusa Pacific’s Bryan Clay Invitational, where she won the fifth heat and placed 47th overall out of 73 runners (April 20) … Ran in the preliminaries of the same event at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships and made her lone appearance of the year in the 5K race, finishing 15th out of 27 runners with an 18:51.29 clocking (May 5) … Placed sixth in the 800 at the Humboldt Invitational after crossing the tape at 2:32.57 (March 10) … Also participated in the 1-mile event at the Run for the Dream Invitational in Fresno during the indoor schedule (Jan. 20).
2011 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in four races as a sophomore … Recorded a 6K career-fast time of 23:26.50 at the CCAA Championships (Oct. 22).
2011 TRACK: Did not compete.
2010 CROSS COUNTRY: Earned a starting assignment at the CCAA Championships in her lone varsity meet of the year, finishing in 80th place with a time of 25:07.8.
PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2010 from Warren High School where she also ran track ... Helped the Bears' cross country squad to a runner-up finish at the 2009 CIF Division I meet ... Captured the San Gabriel Valley League championship in the 3200 and holds the Warren High record in the event ... Was a three-time member of the Long Beach Dream Team in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
