Monica Todd joined the San Francisco State coaching staff prior to the 2019-20 season and assists with SF State's hurdlers.
Prior to joining SF State, Todd served as the jumps coach for three years at her alma mater, Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo. During her coaching tenure, she mentored numerous Coast View Conference champions in Frosh/Varsity as well as several CIF qualifiers. Todd also holds 16 school records to this day and was the first woman inducted into the Trabuco Hills Track & Field Hall of Fame.
Todd attended San Diego State from 2010-12 before joining Howard University from 2012-15, where she qualified for NCAA Regionals in the 400m hurdles and won multiple Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships and was captain all three seasons. Her career was cut short by career-ending knee surgery but that sparked her passion for coaching which she is excited to bring to SF State.
