PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred from Laney College in Oakland, Calif., where she was a two-year track and field competitor ... Helped the Eagles to the team title at the 2010 California Community College Championships with a fourth-place finish in the triple jump (39-01.50) ... Garnered her squad’s most valuable performer, most improved and most inspirational awards ... Graduated in 2008 from St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School ... Also competed in cross country and basketball as a prep.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Leo and Veronica Knowles ... Has one sister, Liana ... Enjoys reading and playing trading card games ... Also has a keen interest in anime and Japanese culture ... Was named to the SF State Athletics Dean’s List following the fall semester ... Majoring in biology.
