Biography

Prior to SF State:  Spent four years on the cross country and track and field teams, as well as two on the basketball team at Cerritos HS… Helped the cross country team win the league championship… While on the track team she specialized in the 1600 meters (5:29) and 3200 meters (11:54)…Enjoys writing, knitting, reading and playing basketball in her spare time… Has six siblings – Alex, Andy, Artie, Johanna, Baldemar and Larissa… Is the daughter of Victor Avila and Patricia Perez.
