Biography

2011 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in her first two races ever as a Gator … Placed 41st at the season-opening Notre Dame de Namur Invitational with a time of 26:17 (Sept. 3) … Also turned in a 69th-place performance at the SF State Invitational, where she crossed the finish line at 25:30.8 (Oct. 7).

2011 TRACK: Appeared in one meet during the indoor schedule, posting a time of 5:47.52 in the 1-mile run at the UW Husky Open (Feb. 13) … Earned a spot on the SF State Athletics honor roll for the spring semester.

2010 CROSS COUNTRY: Did not compete.

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2010 from Ventura High School where she also competed in track ... Garnered All-Channel League honors in 2008 and 2009 ... Was selected Ventura High’s senior of the year in 2009 and served as team captain that season.

PERSONAL: Parents are Tony and Dolores Moraza ... Has three older brothers ... Enjoys listening to new music, bike riding, hiking and going to the beach ... Majoring in consumer and family science with an emphasis in nutrition.
