Biography
2011 CROSS COUNTRY: Enjoyed another solid season on the course, earning a starting assignment in all six of the Gators’ regularly scheduled meets … Established a new 6K personal-best of 23:01.8 at the CCAA Championships to finish in 45th place (Oct. 22) … Also competed at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships for the second year in a row, placing 69th with a time of 23:34 (Nov. 12) … Finished 16th out of 100 runners at the season-opening Notre Dame de Namur after clocking in at 24:46 (Sept. 3) … Received the team’s Golden Gator Award following the season.
2010 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all six meets during her sophomore harrier campaign ... Displayed tremendous improvement toward the end of the season, establishing a new 6K personal-best of 24:00.4 at the CCAA Championships (Nov. 6) ... Was the Gators’ No. 3 finisher under wintry conditions at the NCAA Division II West Regionals, where she wound up in 64th with at time of 24:49.4 (Nov. 20).
2010 TRACK: Recorded two new personal-bests at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships, posting a time of 4:57.30 in the 1,500 meters, before clocking in at 19:34.31 in the 5,000 (May 8) … Ran the third leg of the Gators’ 4x400 relay team at the SF State Distance Carnival (March 26) … Also logged a time of 5:38.07 in the 1-mile run at the UW Husky Open, which ranks sixth on the Gators’ all-time indoor performance list (Feb. 14) …Was named to the SF State Athletics Dean’s List following the spring semester and earned a spot on the honor roll for the fall.
2009 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in five of the Gators’ six scheduled meets last fall ... Placed 11th at the season-opening CSUMB Invitational with a time of 18:36 as SF State captured the team championship in the 2.75-mile event ... Cracked the top 10 at the 5K Mills College Invitational with a ninth-place clocking of 21:03 to help the Gators claim their second straight meet title ... Turned in a 6K season-fast time of 24:32.7 at the SF State Invitational ... Also participated at the Roy Griak Invitational and CCAA Championships.
PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2009 from Murrieta Valley High School ... Also competed in soccer for the Nighthawks.
PERSONAL: Parents are Kirk and Janette Dye ... Has two sisters, Teal and Phoebe, and one brother, Dominic ... Majoring in liberal studies.
