2011 TRACK: Finished second in the javelin throw as an unattached competitor with a mark of 115-6 at the Gators’ own Johnny Mathis Invitational (April 1).

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred from Los Angeles Valley College where she also played basketball and softball … Finished 11th in the javelin at the 2010 California Community College Championships ... Graduated from North Hollywood High School in 2007.

PERSONAL: Parents are Jorge Rivas and Nicole Rivas … Has two siblings, Leslie and Jorge, Jr. … Hobbies include dancing, singing, cooking and drawing … Landed on the SF State Athletics Dean’s List for the fall semester ... Pursuing an undergraduate degree in kinesiology.
