Biography

2014 Outdoor:   Garnered All-American Honors for the 4x100 relay, she ran the second leg for the Gators who placed eighth at the Division II Outdoor Championships with a time of 46.46, which is the third fastest 4x100 time in program history...finished 20th overall in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:06.12...named the CCAA Female Track Athlete of the Year after winning the 400m hurdles and taking second in the 100m dash and 4x100 relay…made her outdoor debut on March 21 at the Johnny Mathis Invitational where she ran the second leg of the 4x100 relay that took first with a time of 46.57…on April 12 at the Chico Twilight she took first in the 400m hurdles with her first provisional mark, clocking in at 1:00.54…that same meet she ran the second leg of the 4x100 that took first with a time of 46.57…ran the fourth leg in the 4x400 that took third with a time of 4:01.70…at the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 18 she finished seventh in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.93...the next day at the Beach Invitational she rant the second leg of the 4x100 relay that took 11th with a time of 47.60…had a monster weekend at the CCAA Championships at the Triton Track & Field Stadium in La Jolla, took first in the 400m hurdles with a then personal record time of 60:32 to earn the first of three All-CCAA honors that weekend…also took second in the 100m dash with a time of 12:14 and ran the second leg for the second place 4x100 relay that clocked in at 45.93…at the USF hosted West Coast Last Chance Meet she tied the SF State record in the 400m hurdles with her new personal best time of 59.69…she also ran the second leg in the 4x100 relay that set a season-best mark with a time of 46.32 which proved to be the qualifying mark for the NCAA Championships.

2014 Indoor:  Made her 2014 Indoor debut at the UW Preview hosted by Washington at the Dempsey Indoor Track and Field Complex, helped the 4x400 relay team finish first in their heat and sixth overall with the sixth fastest time in SF State history on an oversized track with a tie of 3:59.63…placed 11th overall in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.06…took 16th overall in the 200m dash with a time of 25.99…on January 24 at the Jackson’s Invitational/New Boise Indoor Invitational she set the SF State indoor record in the 200m dash finishing sixth overall with a time of 24.97…the next day she set a provisional mark and set another school record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.86 which was third in the finals…she also helped the 4x400 relay finish fourth with a time of 3:54.07 it was the fifth fastest time in SF State history, she ran an impressive 56.1 leg in the relay…on March 14 at the Husky Invitational she finished 17th overall in the 200m with a time of 25.40 which was third fastest in SF State history…three days later at the Fresno State Run For The Dream she finished ninth overall with a time of 9.58 in the 55m hurdles.  

2013 Indoor:  Opened the indoor season at the Cherry and Silver Invitational hosted by New Mexico, placed 17th with a provisional time in the 200m, clocking in at 25.19…ran the first leg of the 4x400 relay that placed fifth overall with a time of 3:51.72…also took 24th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.29 seconds…at the UW Invitational on January 25 she placed 24th in the 200 with a time of 25.51…also took 28th in the 60m hurdles crossing the line with a season-best mark of 9.39…on February 10 at the UW Open she set a record in the 400m with a time of 56.81, good enough for fifth place, it was her first attempt ever running the race…wrapped up the indoor season on February 17 at the Run For The Dream Meet hosted by Fresno State, took 10th in the 55m hurdles with a time of 8.52, four tenths of a second faster than her strong showing in the preliminaries. 

2012 TRACK: Building off a successful freshman season, topped the SF State record book in two outdoor events with personal best times on April 27 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational at Berkeley ... Was a member of the 4x400m relay team that clocked in at 3:42.58 to become the Gators' fastest team in history and qualify for the NCAA National Championship ... Also qualified for nationals in the 400m hurdles after finishing with a 1:00.90 time at the Brutus Hamilton invite, becoming the all-time best perfomer in SF State history ... At the California Collegiate Athletic Association Outdoor Track Championship Meet, grabbed a 14.98 time in the 100m hurdles for a personal record ... During the indoor season, she picked up a 25.52 time in the 200-meter race and 9.48 seconds in the 60m hurdles ... Was also a member of the 4x400 team that clocked in at 3:49.50 on a regulation track and 3:49.26 time on an oversized track ... Was named to the SF State Athletics Honor Roll for the 2012 fall season.

2011 TRACK: Made a big splash in her Gator debut, collecting All-America accolades after running the second leg of SF State’s two record-setting 4x400 relay teams during the indoor and outdoor campaigns … Her indoor relay finished second in the nation with a new school standard of 3:47.03 (March 12), while her outdoor combo took fifth with an effort of 3:45.81, which tops the Gators’ all-time performance list as well (May 28) … Also competed as the No. 2 runner in SF State’s highly regarded 4x100 relay that qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships after establishing a new school record of 46.52 at the Beach Invitational (April 16) … Received all-conference honors in the 400 hurdles after placing third at the California Collegiate Championships with a DII provisional qualifying time of 1:02.79, which ranks fourth in school history (May 7) … Also participated in the preliminaries of the 100 hurdles at the league meet … Earned a spot on the inaugural all-West Region team by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the outdoor season … Posted the squad’s fourth-best 200 time of the indoor schedule with a 26.86 performance at the New Mexico Classic (Feb. 5).

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2010 from Woodcreek High School in Roseville, Calif. ... Was named her team’s most valuable player as a junior and senior ... Coaches Award Recipient ... Also played basketball as a prep, leading the Timberwolves with an average of 3.5 steals per game during the 2009-10 campaign.

PERSONAL: Originally from Sacramento ... Majoring in kinesiology ... Enjoys eating delicious foods and hanging out with friends.
